Care and ConcernKomen Columbus wants to support Survivors. If you know of someone who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, is going through treatment for breast cancer or is struggling with Survivorship issues, show that you care by placing an order for a Survivor Kit to be sent to that special person. Survivor kits are designed to bring feelings of hope and empowerment to someone who has been recently diagnosed with breast cancer, is in the midst of their battle with breast cancer or has survived the disease. Recipients of the kits will receive a wooden box that has been colorfully decorated by local community groups and filled with items designed to comfort anyone affected by breast cancer. The contents could include: • Pink ribbon items such as stickers, rings, bracelets and pencils Survivor kits are available free of charge and can be shipped to the recipient also at no cost.
