Survivor Pink Hats: Breast cancer Survivors who wish to be recognized may pick up complimentary pink caps at the SurvivorPalooza and in the registration area on Race Day. “In Celebration Of” & “In Memory Of” Back Signs: We invite all Race participants to recognize those special people in their lives who have been touched by breast cancer. “In Memory Of” and “In Celebration Of” back signs will be available at the SurvivorPalooza and the registration area on Race Day. Take this opportunity to celebrate and honor those we love who have faced the challenges of breast cancer. Co-Survivor Program: As a breast cancer Survivor, you know the importance of a support system better than anyone. You probably have Co-Survivors – family, friends, doctors or colleagues – who have been sources of support and inspiration during your journey, from diagnosis to treatment. In 2004, the Komen Foundation launched a campaign to honor Co-Survivors. Look for elements of the Co-Survivor program, such as pink-and-white ribbons and special stickers, at the Komen Columbus Race for the Cure® and other Komen Columbus Affiliate events. |
