Team Awards

The 2012 Susan G. Komen Columbus Affiliate Race for the Cure® is all about TEAMS! Our Race teams can change history—the history of breast cancer—by helping the Komen Columbus Affiliate Race for the Cure reach record-breaking levels of Race participation and fundraising. A Race for the Cure team is a group of 10 or more participants who join together for the Race season to have fun and raise funds to empower the breast cancer movement.

Team Awards

Team awards help drive the friendly competition that makes each year better than the last! Numbers for awards are calculated for registrations and donations received by a specific date. The following team honors will be awarded in 2012:

• Largest High School Team
• Largest Civic Organization Team
• Largest Corporate Team by Division
  Division 1, companies with less than 100 employees:
  Division 2, companies with 101-250 employees:
  Division 3, companies with 251-500 employees:
  Division 4, companies with more than 500 employees:
• Best Team T-shirt Design

In 2011, we recognized the following Teams:

• Largest High School Team: Hamilton Township Rangers with 912 team members
• Largest Civic Organization Team: Team Perez with 1,086 team members
• Largest Corporate Team by Division
  Division 1, companies with less than 100 employees: Columbus OB/GYN with 94 team members
  Division 2, companies with 101-250 employees: M/I Homes with 296 team members
  Division 3, companies with 251-500 employees: Value City Furniture with 293 team members
  Division 4, companies with more than 500 employees: Limited Brands with 7,336 team members, the largest corporate team ever!
