Rally for the Cure — Golf, tennis, dinner events and so much more...

Major step in personalized treatment — Thanks to a 2007 research grant from Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, scientists identified a set of 50 genes that oncologists can potentially use to tailor individualized treatments for all breast cancer patients.

Sponsors

Become a Sponsor

Local sponsorship is critical to our being able to support local breast cancer programs and national research grants. Sponsor gifts help underwrite Race expenses and, along with entry fees and donations from Race participants, go directly toward funding breast cancer services and research. When you invest in a Komen Columbus Race for the Cure® sponsorship, you invest in the lives of the people closest to you... the people of your community... your family, colleagues, neighbors and friends. Up to 75 percent of net funds raised stay in our 30-county service area to support education, screening and treatment initiatives and a minimum of 25 percent is contributed to the Komen national research efforts.

Without the generous support of our Race for the Cure sponsors, we would not be able to provide funds for our community health grantees who educate men and women in central and southeastern Ohio on breast health, as well as provide screenings and treatment options.

Sponsors are needed for the 2010 Race for the Cure®. Please download our Sponsorship Opportunities packet to see how you or your company can get involved and complete the 2010 Sponsorship Contract.

If'd you'd like more information about becoming a 2010 Race for the Cure® sponsor, please contact Beth Waldren via email or phone, 614-297-8155 ext. 5.
