How to Apply for Funding

Thank you for your interest in the Komen Columbus grants program. To be eligible to apply, your organization must be:

• A federally tax-exempt entity — nonprofit organization, government agency, educational institution or Indian tribe. Individuals cannot apply.
• Serve one of the following 30 counties in our area: Athens, Champaign, Clark, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Gallia, Guernsey, Hocking, Jackson, Knox, Lawrence, Licking, Madison,
  
  Marion, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Morrow, Muskingum, Noble, Perry, Pickaway, Pike, Ross, Scioto, Union, Vinton and Washington.

Seventy-five percent of the money raised by the Komen Columbus Affiliate stays in Central and Southeastern Ohio to support organizations that offer education, treatment and screening to local residents, particularly those who are uninsured or medically under-served.

The 2013-2014 Request for Application was released Tuesday, September 11, 2012.  The 2013-2014 application will be available Friday, September 28, 2012 on our online grant system GeMs.

An informational session and GeMS training workshop for potential applicants will be held on Friday, September 28th. Those planning to apply for a Komen Columbus grant are strongly encouraged to attend the workshop. Please email Julie Dean to RSVP by September 17th at Noon.
