Financial Resources —Did you know that there are many financial resources that can help people living with breast cancer? Find out more
Voices of Impact™ — Join us here as we continue to share stories that celebrate the women and men who inspire us all.
You may be a runner, a volunteer or an activist. However you choose to get involved, just know that everything you do makes a difference. After all, without the support of people like you, the 10 million people who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the next 25 years could die. These are our mothers, sisters, and friends who face breast cancer diagnoses every day. Breast cancer is still claiming far too many of our loved ones’ lives. So, how will you get involved?

Rally for the Cure
Rally for the Cure® is about people who are committed to making an impact in the fight against breast cancer by organizing a golf, tennis or social event. Rally can be incorporated into an existing event or you can design an event around the breast cancer awareness theme. The program is easily adaptable to activities like bridge, bunco, mahjong and other fitness pursuits like yoga, spinning and swimming.
Each participant pays a $20 entry fee (non-tax-deductible) for a chance to win a grand prize, receive event favors, breast health information and a subscription to a select Condé Nast magazine. Contributions can benefit Komen Columbus when indicated. For more information, visit www.rftcpromotions.com, call 1-800-327-6811 or email.
Soccer for the Cure
A Soccer for the Cure™ match is a regular season high school soccer match that is designated as an awareness and fundraising match. The goal is to pack the stands with pink players, coaches and parents, and schools are encouraged to get involved!
Faith In Pink
Faith in Pink is a grassroots effort between Komen Columbus and local places of worship to educate the members of their respective congregations on breast health and breast cancer. Komen Columbus will provide breast health information packets to each participating congregation. The program is easily tailored to your individual needs and can include everything from a short informational message (script provided), to an educational table before/after service(s). If you would like to request educational materials for up to 100 people for a Faith In Pink program at your church, temple or other faith-based organization, please complete this short survey or contact us.
