Catch up with the KYP in October

The Komen Young Professionals (KYP) committee is a new generation of young and aspiring professional men and women engaged in a culture of philanthropy to support the fight to end breast cancer forever.

As part of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Columbus Affiliate, our focus is to increase breast cancer awareness and breast health among young men and women. We aim to raise funds in support of breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment services through fun, philanthropic events, which allow members to socialize, network and make a significant impact in the community.

Members can assist with planning and coordination of young professional-focused events and can join sub-committees with any of the following interests:

Hot Pink Happy Hour
Want to mix up your happy hour routine? Join us for a Hot Pink Happy Hour on Thursday, October 27, at Woodlands Tavern in Grandview. The Hot Pink Racers will be rocking out from 6-8 pm and a $5 cover, with all proceeds benefiting Komen Columbus, will get you in on the fun and fantastic happy hour specials from the bar - including $2 drafts! Help spread the word about this great event with one of our event posters.
