Financial Information
As representatives of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we at the Columbus Affiliate take our responsibility to be good stewards of your financial contributions very seriously.
Seventy-five percent of any donation we receive funds local breast cancer treatment, screening and educational initiatives in central and southeastern Ohio. The remaining 25 percent funds scientific research at the national level.
For your tax purposes, our Tax-ID number is 75-2844651. Our 2008-2009 990 form is available here.
The expense ratio is 14%,in line with national standards.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure® received Charity Navigator’s highest rating – four stars – for the third year in a row. With this rating, Susan G. Komen for the Cure becomes one of only 12 percent of the approximately 5,400 charities that Charity Navigator evaluates which has received at least three consecutive 4-star ratings.
